University Grants Commission (UGC) of the 2013-14 academic year postgraduate course in Law (LLM) has decided to launch.The academic session will start at 2013.14.
Commission's expert committee for one year LLM course has prepared some guidelines. This one-year postgraduate law courses can be started at the university or institution where the study centers postgraduate law.
The Commission to consider various aspects of legal education and research related to the academic and professional gave several suggestions to improve the quality. The Ministry of Human Resource Development set up by the UGC LLM degree courses to improve legal education committee was asked to consider.
According to the guidelines, in the Faculty of Law graduate education teacher who will make similar institutions, will meet the minimum criteria relating to infrastructure.
Entrance examination for admission in the total would be 70 percentage points, while the remaining 30 percent work experience, publications etc. can be provided.is to be based.
Point one-year LL.M. course credits will be 24. Specialization in any branch of the University Faculty of Law course might offer. LLM course will be launched in three semesters a year.
